Set just a stone’s throw from Hyde Park / Kensington Gardens, you can relax in the beauty of meticulously cultured gardens and large, open fields or go shopping on the local high street, Queensway, where you will find everything from Ice and Roller Skating to an historic shopping centre! Notting Hill and its famous Portobello Market are just a fifteen minute walk; Oxford Street, High Street Kensington, Marble Arch, Speakers’ Corner and a dozen other famous landmarks are just a twenty to thirty minute walk; downtown London and Westminster, with the famous ‘Big Ben’ and Westminster Abbey, the London Eye are all just one quick train ride away. Everything you want is within your reach here in Bayswater, and the Hyde Park Inn is your ticket to a fun, entertaining stay!

The Hyde Park Inn is based in two listed buildings just off of two major streets in West Central London. Converted from luxury town homes, you will not be surprised at the very high ceilings on the lower floors, and the spacious dorms with all of the necessities for backpackers! Whether you wish to stay in a small four-bed dorm, or a very large eighteen-bed dorm, we have everything you need! Private rooms are also in limited supply, offering you hostel-style private rooms of twin-bunk or single rooms at great low prices!

This large, stylish hostel has been recently renovated to offer a large, modern reception with a well-priced internet café, TV room, coffee bar with espresso and soft drinks on sale 24 hours a day! In our common room, there is plenty of seating and Sky TV reception with the sports package so you have a great selection of films and sports programmes to keep you entertained. And as there are a total of four 42" Plasma Televisions, you won't have trouble seeing those programmes!

Our self-catering kitchen is available from 10:30 - 00:00 daily and offers you storage for your food as well as modern appliances for cooking. We have all the crockery and supplies you need, so you need only bring the food!

Not in the mood to cook? Just down the road, we have two eateries that will set your mouth to watering and also keep your budget well sorted!

Our Pizza Factory restaurant features more than just pizza. With a menu full of enticing Italian-influenced dishes, we will satisfy your appetite without depleting your funds. Next door to the Pizza Factory is the more traditional Royal Bayswater Café. IMPORTANT INFORMATION
We urge you to read all of our small print in the Terms & Conditions on this website.
•    SECURITY DEPOSIT: additional to your stay, we will require a GBP 10.00 cash security deposit to hold for the duration of your stay. This deposit will be reduced for any damages, lost or stolen items or for late check-out. Barring this, it will be returned in full at check-out.
•    PAYMENT: all payment is due on arrival to the hostel. Please have your payment plan sorted. Credit card payments are subject to a 5% processing fee.
•    CHECK-OUT: check out is by 10:00am on the day of departure. Late check outs are subject to a GBP 10.00 late check out fee.
•    AGE: we welcome all ages, but recommend guests from 16-60 years in shared accommodation. Guests under 16 must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian. We require guests under 12 to be booked into private accommodation. If booking a dormitory for a family, please email us before booking to guarantee private placement is available.

Definitions

Adult: Any person who is above 16 years of age.
Child: Any person who is at or below 16 years of age.

General

1. All bookings are subject to availability and we reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

2. Rooms/Dorms are available from 11:00am on the day of arrival; however if you arrive early you are welcome to drop off any luggage in the morning at the hostel.

3. Check out time is before 10:00 AM on the day of departure.

4. Customers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an Adult.

5. The recommended age to stay at our hostels is between 16-60 years.

a. All our hostels have Bunk Beds which might not be convenient for physically challenged and older customers. Since all our Hostel premises are listed buildings, we are not in a position to make alterations to make it suitable and more user friendly for physically challenged and older customers.

6. Check-in Deposit

a. A Deposit of £10.00 per person will be charged at the time check-in for the swipe card(s) and the Linen/ Blanket(s) provided. The deposit is only accepted in cash (in GBP only). This deposit will be refunded to you on departure.

b. You would lose your Deposit:

i. If you check out later than 10:00 AM of your departure day.

ii. If you lose the Swipe Card, Linen or Blanket.

iii. If your behaviour results in you being asked to leave the hostel.

Payments

1. In order to secure your booking you must pay a Booking Deposit (non-refundable) equal to 10% of Total Booking Amount.

2. We accept all cash payments in British Pounds (GBP) only. Although all our Hostels have the Currency Exchange facility to Convert Euros and Dollars to British Pounds (GBP).

3. Credit/Debit Card Payments

a. If payment is made using a Credit/Debit card an additional charge of 5% of the total booking amount will be charged.

b. The person paying through the Credit/ Debit Card should be present at the time of check in with the same Credit/ Debit Card with which the payment was made. If not, the customer will have to pay in cash and the charges made on the Credit/ Debit Card will be refunded in full.

You will be asked to produce a confirmation from the holder of the card along with a legible photocopy of the Credit/ Debit Card (both sides) through which the payment was made along with a legible signed photocopy of a personal Identification (Passport) of the person holding the card.

4. If you make a payment in a Currency other than GBP, at the time of Check-in the balance payment will be converted to GBP based on that day’s conversion rate.

Cancellations

To cancel a Booking you should notify us in writing. “Writing” means letter, fax or email.

1. We require 24 Hours notice to cancel a Booking. Please Note that the Booking Deposit is Non-refundable in any circumstances. The 24 Hours are counted backwards from the Check-in time (11:00 AM) on the Arrival Date (and not the time of arrival you have mentioned while making the Booking).

2. If cancelling is within 24 Hours of arrival date, we will charge the full amount for the first night of your stay.

3. Weekly Bookings: Since a huge discount is given on all the weekly bookings, the payment once made is not refundable under any circumstances.

If you change your Booking

Subject to availability, you may change your booking before your arrival date.

1. Changes requested within 24 hours of the date of arrival will be treated as cancellations (see “Cancellations” above).

2. Changes to a confirmed reservation (e.g. changes in dates of stay or changes in numbers of people and nights booked) are subject to availability of a suitable alternative and are subject to any additional costs incurred in making the changes to accommodate your request.

3. If you prepone or postpone an entire booking you would be expected to pay the difference in the rates/tariff based on the date the booking is moved to.

4. We will inform you of the amount of any additional costs when you request any changes and shall agree such costs with you before any such changed are confirmed.

5. For any decrease in the number of nights and/or people in a confirmed booking, an admin charge equal to 10% of the charges for the number of nights and/or people being reduced will be charged.

6. All changes will be subject to the availability of a suitable alternative.

Refunds

All refunds take up to 10 working days to process.

Weekly Bookings

Weekly Bookings: Since a huge discount is given on all the weekly bookings, the payment once made is not refundable and non-transferable in any circumstances.

Special Offers

Any special offers from time to time will have their own terms & conditions attached with it.

Behaviour

If your behaviour is deemed to be unacceptable or causes damage, your booking may be terminated and you may be asked to leave our hostel premises. No whole or part refunds will be made under these circumstances.

Property

We shall not be liable to you for property left in the rooms, our lockers or the luggage room, we are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal property which may occur within the hostel.

Delay or Failure to Perform

We shall not be liable to you if we are prevented or delayed in the performing of any of our obligations to you if this is due to any causes beyond our reasonable control including (without limitations): act of terrorism, an act of God, flood, fire or accident; war or civil disturbance; strike, industrial action or stoppages of work; any form of government intervention; a third party act or omission; failure by you to give us a correct delivery address or notify us of any change of address.

We shall only store and use the information you supply to us or which is supplied to us for the purposes of carrying out our contact with you and to inform you of other services and offers which we make available from time to time. Follow signs within the airport to find the Heathrow Express boarding platform. Board the Heathrow Express and remain on the train until it reaching Paddington Station. Exit the Heathrow Express at Paddington Station and switch to the underground by following the indicative signs. Board a Circle Line train Westbound towards High Street Kensington, or a District Line train towards Wimbledon. Exit at the Bayswater underground station. Exit the station onto Queensway Road. Cross Queensway and go right, taking your immediate left onto Inverness Gardens. Follow straight on until you reach Inverness Terrace and you will see the Smart Hyde Park Inn straight across.

Follow the indicative signs for the Gatwick Express train. Stairway is right inside the terminal. Board the train and remain aboard until you reach Liverpool Street Station. Switch to the London Underground and board a Central Line train towards West Ruislip, Northolt, Ealing Broadway or White City. Disembark at Queesway Station and alight to Queensway Road. Exiting the station, cross Queensway Road and take turn left. Follow Queensway until you reach Inverness Place. Turn right onto Inverness Place and follow to its end, a junction with Inverness Terrace. You will see the Hyde Park Inn directly across the street.

Follow the indicative signs for the bus stop. Board a National Express coach service to London and remain aboard until you reach Victoria Coach Station. Follow the indicative signs for the Stansted Express train. Board the train and remain aboard until you reach Liverpool Street Station. Approximate journey time: 1 hour

When you land at London Luton Airport, catch the free Luton Airport shuttle bus from outside the terminal at Bay 1. This will take you to Luton Airport Parkway station in around 10 minutes where you can catch a First Capital Connect train southbound into London. Board the train and remain onboard until you reach London King’s Cross Station. Transfer to the London Underground and board a westbound Circle Line train towards High Street Kensington. Exit the train at Bayswater Station. From Bayswater Station, cross Queensway Road and immediately turn left onto Inverness Place., there in front of you at the junction is Hyde Park Inn. 1 minute walk from Bayswater Station.

Exit the station onto Praed Street, Craven Road and turn Right. Walk along Craven Road until it becomes Craven Hill Road. Continue until the road ends at the junction with Leinster Terrace. Turn left onto Leinster Terrace and walk until its end at the junction with Bayswater Road. Turn right onto Bayswater Road and walk passed Porchester Terrace and Queensborough Terrace until you reach Inverness Terrace. Turn right onto Inverness Terrace and walk until you see the Hyde Park Inn across from Inverness Place. The Inn will be on your right-hand side.

From King's Cross / St. Pancras Stations

Approximate journey time: 20 minutes
Board a Circle Line train Westbound towards High Street Kensington, or a District Line train towards Wimbledon. Exit at the Bayswater underground station. Alight onto Queensway Road. Cross Queensway and go right for only 2 metres, taking your immediate left onto Inverness Gardens. Follow straight on until you reach Inverness Terrace and you will see the Smart Hyde Park Inn straight across.

Via the London Underground (Alternate Route)

Board a Victoria Line train Southbound towards Brixton. Change at Oxford Circus Station and board a Central Line train towards Ealing Broadway, Northolt or West Ruislip.
